CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) — A west Georgia man is being held without bond on a child molestation charge after allegedly fondling a 6-year-old girl in a Walmart store.

Authorities say 75-year-old Roy Lee Johnson of Carrollton allegedly touched the girl while she was in one of the toy aisles at the store.

The Times-Georgian  quotes police as saying the child's mother was nearby and saw what happened.

A judge denied bond for Johnson during a hearing Thursday.

The man's son and daughter attended the hearing and told the judge the man suffers from several medical conditions including Alzheimer's disease.

Johnson was arrested in 2011 after a similar alleged incident at another store. Authorities didn't press the case on the condition that Johnson never go to places unsupervised where children might be located.
