ATLANTA (AP) — Those looking to purchase certain energy- and water-efficient appliances and products will enjoy a sales tax holiday this weekend in Georgia.

Officials with the state Department of Revenue say the sales tax holiday is limited to items that cost no more than $1,500 and include an Energy Star or Water Sense label.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports  the tax holiday starts Friday and runs through Sunday.

Products purchased for a business or trade use or those being rented or leased do not apply for the exemption.

Those energy-efficient products include air conditioners, ceiling fans, dishwashers, light bulbs among other items, while water-efficient products can include faucets, toilets and showerheads.
