Mrs. Ragen Maloy Cantrell of Covington announces the engagement of her daughter, Tori Lynn Cantrell, to Chad Allen Andrews, of Cairo.

The bride-elect, also the daughter of the late Robert H. Cantrell Jr., graduated magna cum laude from Georgia College and State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public relations at the University of Georgia. She is employed as a media specialist at the Quality Deer Management Association in Athens.

Mr. Andrews, the son of Timothy and Sherri Andrews, graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering. He is pursuing his master’s degree in environmental engineering at the University of Georgia. He is employed by UGA as a graduate assistant research engineer and is an environmental engineer consultant for the Grady County Tired Creek Lake water quality project.

An October wedding is planned.
