Adria T. Stokes and Pedro Q. Dennis of Covington were united in marriage May 15 at St. Paul A.M.E. church with Pastor Annette Nash officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Franklin and Walter" Ray" and Betty Stokes. The groom is the son of Woodrow and "Linda" Mullins and James Kelly.

The bride was given in marriage by her father Walter "Ray" Stokes. She wore a gown by Alfred Angelino. Serving as maid of honor was Daneene Lackey and serving at matron of honor was Catalata Stokes. They wore espresso gowns, one with a pastel blue sash and one with an ivory sash.

Bridesmaids were Telethia Penn, Shuanita Glover, Ashley Stokes and Daijah Carter. They wore espresso gowns with pastel blue sashes.

Serving as best man was Anthony Glover of Covington. Groomsmen were Robert Franklin, Natorrio Kelly, Antonio Stokes, Roderick Freeman and David Stokes.

Serving as flower girls were Sariah Carter and Zuriah Dennis, daughters of the bride and groom. Serving as ring bearer was MaCaleb "MJ" Carter, son of the bride. Dee Dennis, son of the groom, served as usher.

Music was provided by Amy and Ashley Gaither. Decorations for the wedding included calla lilies and flowers in pastel blue and ivory.

The reception was held at Club 908 and the honeymoon was at a private resort. The couple now reside in Covington.
