Laura Drake Malone and Alexander Burk Malone of Moultrie announce the birth of twin girls Avis Mae Malone and Naomi Elizabeth Malone Nov. 24 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Avis weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Naomi weighed 5 pounds and 2 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are the late James (Chip) Hampton Drake Jr. of Moultrie and Mr. and Mrs. Ken (Judy) Cannon of Covington. Paternal grandparents are the late Avis Elizabeth Malone and Mr. and Mrs. E. Burk (Connie) Malone of Covington.

Maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cleo (Alma) Carroll of Covington and the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Avis) Drake Sr. of Moultrie. Paternal great-grandparents are Mrs. Joan Barton and the late Mr. Robert Barton of Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. Bob (Mary Lou) Kruger of Winder and the late Mr. Elzie Burk Malone Jr. of Chamblee.
