Candice Ballard Knight and Trent Knight, of Newton County, announce the birth of their son, Easton Tanner Knight, Aug. 22, 2013, at Rockdale Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth and was 18.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Terry and Angela Ballard. Great-grandparents are William Clayton and Betty Dial, of Newton County.

Paternal grandparents are Duane Knight, of Newton County, Susan Knight, of Morgan County and Linda Davis, of Green County. Great-grandparents are Billy and Brenda Knight, of Newton County.

Siblings are: Tootsie, Been, Bella, Rodeo and Rocky.
