Rae Ra of Oxford, daughter of Seong W. Ra of Seoul and Sook Lee of Lawrenceville, received an associate in arts from Oxford College of Emory University in Dec. 18.

The following students were named to the Honor List of Oxford College for the 2010 fall semester. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be named to the Honor List. Jessica Bailey of Oxford, daughter of Dr. Evelyn Cherry Bailey; Rae Ra of Oxford, daughter of Seong W. Ra of Seoul and Sook J. Lee of Lawrenceville; Christopher Parkinson of Oxford, son of John C. Parkinson and Rhonda M. Parkinson.

The following students were named to the Dean's List of Emory College, the undergraduate, liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta, for the 2010 fall semester. Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.86 grade point average or higher to be named to the Dean's List. Slaton Case of Newborn, son of Christine Case of Newborn, and Trevin Case of Flint, Mich., Nathan Reeder of Social Circle, son of Stephen Clifford Reeder and Kathie Hall Reeder; Megan Heineman of Decatur, daughter of Deborah A. Smith of Covington, and Karl J. Heineman of Germantown, Md.; Brittany Mayo of Covington, daughter of Timothy Lane Mayo and Tammie Renea Mayo.

The following students were named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, for the 2010 fall semester. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester to be named to the Merit List. Eric Ritenour of Covington, son of Juanita C. Ritenour of Covington, and Robert R. Ritenour of Gainesville; Ralston Medouze of Covington son of Ralph Medouze and Karen Medouze; Micah East of Social Circle, son of Greg East and Sherry East; Meghann Timmins of Covington.
