I have always been a fan of music, but you know what I like almost as much as music? Free stuff! So there isn’t much better than free music. Since the Arts Association in Newton County is awesome and loves us all, they make sure we can get our free music fix several times a year. The lunchtime concerts may have ended, but the second Friday evening concerts are just starting out. Friday at 7 p.m., come out to the square, bring a blanket and some grub, and listen to jazz saxophonist Chand Antonio Bennett and NEO4. Did I mention it was free?
