Mark and Debbie Malcom of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Katie Malcom to Matthew Harris, son of Alfred and Deborah Harris of Conyers.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Bernice Biggers of Covington and Benny and Deloras Malcom of Covington. She received certification as a CAN at DeKalb Technical College and is employed at Henderson’ Grocery.

The future groom is the grandson of Janice Allred of Eatonton. He holds an associate of science in business administration from Georgia Perimeter College and is employed at Pactiv.

The wedding will be April 16 at High Point Baptist Church.
