Benny and Rena Jarvis of Adairsville announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Amanda Jarvis to Greg Frasier, son of Jeff and Dorina Frasier of Mansfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Jo Ann Porter of Acworth and Enola Jarvis and the late Ernest Jarvis of Craigsville, W. Va. She has one sister, Shannon Hyde of Cartersville. She is a graduate of Cass High School and received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Jacksonville State University where she was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. She is employed by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as a Registered Nurse.

The future groom is the grandson of Charles and Ann Bruce of Oxford, Donald Monroe of Covington, Jean Frasier of Snellville and the late Donald Frasier of Buford. He has one sister Lisa Coggin of Newnan. He is a graduate of Eastside High School and received a Bachelor of Science in building construction from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011. He is employed by Skyline Forming as a project manager.

The wedding will be Aug. 27 at Sam Jones United Methodist Church.
