Jimmy and Sandra Griffin of Conyers announce the engagement of their daughter, Holli Griffin, to Mike McEwen, son of Alan and Elvina McEwen of Conyers.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anne Burdette of Conyers, Rufus and Linda Burdette of Pine Mountain, Ga. and Joe and Doris (deceased) Griffin of Milstead, Ga. She is a 2003 graduate of Heritage High School, a 2007 graduate of Georgia College & State University and a 2009 graduate of Walden University. She is now employed as a special education teacher at Oak Hill Elementary.

The future groom is the grandson of Betty and Elvin (deceased) Gray of Seymour, Ind., Edna Stockard and Roy Stockard (deceased) and Eddie McEwen (deceased) of Fayetteville. He is a 2004 graduate of Liberty Academy and a 2010 graduate of Georgia College & State University. He is now pursuing a career in the medical field.

The couple plans to wed June 11 in Conyers.
