Mr. and Mrs. William (Nancy) Domm of Ontario, N.Y., and Mr. and Mrs. William (Terry) Gibbons of Covington are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Ashley Anne and Kevin Stewart, respectively. Ashley and Kevin are pursuing master's degrees at the University of Sheffield, England, completing their studies in September 2010. The bride-to-be is a Wayne Central alumna and a graduate of Gettysburg College majoring in history and German. She earned a master's degree from the Cooperstown Graduate Program in Museum Studies. Ashley is currently working toward an MSc degree in Arts, Cultural and Heritage Management.

The groom-to-be is an alumnus of Newton High School and holds a degree from Young Harris College and a Bachelor of Anthropology from the University of Georgia in Athens. He is currently pursuing a Master in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy.

The two met while completing internships on the Caribbean island of St. Eustatius and got engaged while on a holiday trip to Istanbul, Turkey. The wedding is scheduled for Oct. 23, 2010, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lake Placid, N.Y.
