Wanda Hutson and Christopher “Chris” Woods plan to enter into holy matrimony Friday, July 18th at Villa Christina.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Minerva and Randolph Hutson of Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago. She is a 2001 graduate of Spain’s Bishop Anstey High School in Trinidad and Tobago and a graduate of Abilene Christian University in Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in the field of Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Organization and Human Resource Development. She competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics (Athens, Greece) and 2008 Summer Olympics (Beijing). She is employed by Mississippi Bone and Joint Clinic, Starkville, Mississippi.
The groom-elect is the son of Cynthia Blackshear Warren, Reginald Warren and Reginald Woods of Covington and the grandson of Dorothy Blackshear of Phillips Ranch California; Hollis Blackshear of Covington and Mr. and Mrs. Willie S. Woods of Oxford. He is a 2004 graduate of Mays High School in Atlanta, GA. and graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He is the Assistant Track and Field Coach at Mississippi State University, Starkville, Mississippi. The couple will reside in Starkville, Mississippi.
