Howell and Norma Couch of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Jhie Couch to John Schramm, son of Rainer and Jenny Schramm of Covington.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Bobby Crowe and Sylvia Crowe of Covington and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Couch of Toccoa. She will graduate from Grady Health Systems School of Radiation Therapy in September.

The future groom is the son of the late Jim Rouse and Edith Rouse of Conyers and Mr. and Mrs. Friedrick Schramm of Leonberg, Germany. He is an IEC graduate and works for Capital City Electric as a journeyman electrician.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 24 at Burnt Pine Plantation, Newborn.
