Terry and Sherry Almond of Covington are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Diane Almond, to Bryan Matthew Lipka, the son of Jennifer Lipka of Conyers.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late James L. and Berta McElreath of Covington, Syble Montgomery of Mansfield and the lagte Albert Almond of Gray.

She is a graduate of Newton County High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor's in psychology. She is employed by Pinnacle Bank in Covington.

The groom is the grandson of Betsy and Tony DeGreorio, John Wilcox of Candor, N.Y. and Edward Lipka and the late Marie Lipka of Cadnor, N.Y.

The groom is a graduate of Rockdale County High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a degree in marketing. He is employed with Enterprise in Ellenwood.

The wedding ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. May 21 at Porterdale Baptist Church. The Rev. Dickie Johnson will officiate and a reception will be held at Indian Creek Golf Club of Covington.
