Ashlee and Will Polk of Newborn announce the birth of their daughter, Laynie Rose Polk, on March 29 at Rockdale Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Robby and Deneen Taylor of Covington. Paternal grandparents are Vicki and Harold Harper of Covington and Tray and Wanda Polk of Newborn.
