Bobby and JoAnn Hopkins of Covington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary December 19. They were married at Porterdale Baptist Church in 1959.

They have two children — son Mike Hopkins and wife Kelli and daughter Paige Vandergriff and husband Bill all of Covington — and seven grandchildren.

Bobby is retired from the United States Postal Service, Covington Branch, with 26 years of service. JoAnn is retired from the City of Covington with 30 years of service.
