Fifteen tribes from all over the United States and Mexico gathered Saturday and Sunday for an intertribal pow wow at Whippoorwill Hollow Farm on Highway 138, just east of Walnut Grove. The Third Annual North Eastern Native American "We Are All Related" Charity Pow Wow drew over 450 spectators and participants to the area farm to dance, sing, socialize and generally have a good time in celebration of their collective heritage. Money raised during the two-day event will go to benefit Native Americans with diabetes.
