Ms. Shirley M. House, 64, of Porterdale, died March 28. Ms. House was born and raised and lived all of her life in Porterdale. She retired from Hercules and Lithonia Lighting. She was preceded in death by father James C. House.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Rodney and Kristi House of Flowery Branch; mother Myrtle House of Porterdale; brothers and sister-in-law Ronnie House of Covington, Alan and Sarah House of Conyers; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Tony Moon of Mansfield; twin grandsons Charlie and Cooper House; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held March 30 from the chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Burgner officiating. Interment followed at the Austin Family Cemetery, Covington. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to Children's health Care of Atlanta, 1405 Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30322.
