Mrs. Shirley B. Clive, 64, of Oxford, died July 19. She was a long-time Newton County resident and a member of Eastridge Community Church. Mrs. Clive was employed by Sweetheart Plastics/Solo for 21 years and had worked at Riverside Nursing Home.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Johnny and Melanie Tatum of Oxford; daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn and Bobby Butler of Covington, Patricia and David Lewis of Marysville, Wash.; brothers Charlie Boyd of Grand Prairie, Texas, Robert Lee Boyd of Plano, Texas, Randall Boyd of Covington, Michael Boyd of Shady Dale; sisters Mary Carter of Covington, Imogene Monk of Oxford; grandchildren Brianna Lewis, Zachary Lewis, Carley Lewis, Leann Smith, Alisha Smith, Erica Smith, Lynn Tatum, Katie Tatum; great-grandchildren MaKenzie Scott and Dylan Tribble.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Eastridge Community Church with the Rev. Brad Rutledge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, July 20, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Flowers are acceptable, or contributions may be made to the Legacy fund, Eastridge Community Church, 863 Ga. Highway 142, Covington, 30014.
