Mr. Roy Lee Barfield Jr., 59, of Social Circle, died Dec. 20. The son of the late Roy Lee Sr. and Evelyn King Barfield, he was born in 1947 in Albany.

Mr. Barfield was an elder at the Victory Tabernacle, Conyers, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during Vietnam.

Surviving are wife Trisha Barfield of Social Circle; daughters Lori of West Palm, Fla., Kristina and Ashley of Social Circle; son Trey of Social Circle; grandson Triston of West Palm.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral home today, Dec. 23, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Doug Nelms officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
