Robert Johnson Jr. died Nov. 21. The son of Robert Lee Johnson and Nellie Ruth Johnson, he was born in Atlanta in 1948.

Surviving are daughter Francheska Welch Johnson; stepdaughters Precious Welch, Nicole (Bo-mama) Welch; sons Brandon Welch-Johnson and Donta Welch-Johnson and their mother Lillian Welch; sisters Cora Ruth King and brother-in-law Arthur Lee King Jr., Annette Johnson and Lejuana Michele Johnson; brothers Richard O'Neal Johnson and sister-in-law Ruby Jean Johnson, Walter Lee Johnson, Marvin Jerome Johnson, Ronson Lamar Johnson; uncle Richard "Buddy Johnson and Aunt Polly; aunt Margaret Price; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at noon Nov. 28 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Bishop M.D. Spires officiating. Interment followed at Johnson Cemetery, Covington.
