Ralph Lee Giles Jr., 63, of Covington, died April 12 at Newton Medical Center. Mr. Giles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and son. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals. Mr. Giles was a member of Grant Park Masonic Lodge #604. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Tedder.

Mr. Giles is survived by wife, Diane R. Giles; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger and Ricky Bradford, Roxy and Bobby Johnson, all of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Bo and Tonya Giles of Covington and Russell and Shana Giles of Canton; grandchildren, Corey Giles, Kayla Giles, Lindsey Bradford, Lucas Bradford and Ethan Johnson; father, Clint Tedder of Covington; and numerous cousins.

Memorial services for Mr. Giles will be held Monday, April 14 from the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road. Pastor Sammy Williamson and Brother Ricky Bradford will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 13. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, Ga. 30605.
