Priscilla Ann Payne "Pat" George

Mrs. Priscilla Ann Payne "Pat" George, 66, of Stockbridge, died Oct. 25 at Northside Medical Center. The daughter of the late Flosie Louise Kimball and Bonnie Lee Payne, she was born in Newton County. Mrs. George was a self-employed seamstress and enjoyed riding the Harley-Davidson bike with Jimmy, reading, working crossword puzzles and her cats, which she called her "babies."

Surviving are husband Jimmy K. George of Stockbridge; children Kelly, Kerry and Kitty; grandchildren Kenneth, Cory and Kevin; great-grandchildren Addison and Caleb; brothers John and Jerry Payne.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald George officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfiew Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home, 250 Pinehurst Dr., Stockbridge, Saturday, Oct. 27. Those who wish may make donations to the Lupus Foundation of America Inc., Greater Atlanta Chapter, 2800 Lake Park Dr., Ste 101, Smyrna, 30080, in lieu of flowers.
