Newton County Sheriff's arrested Antonio Shy Thursday on charges of kidnapping two women and a small child.

Shy reportedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, her sister and an infant at gunpoint after he was denied entrance to the victim's home last Tuesday

NCSO Lt. Bill Watterson said the suspect broke into the house's back door using a credit card before pulling a gun on the victims and ordering them from the residence into one of the victim's car.

Shy ordered one of the victims to drive around town for an unspecified amount of time before letting one of the women and the infant out in the area of Settlers Grove Road. The other victim was later able to escape through unknown means.

One of the victims' mother reported the incident to the NCSO.
