Mr. Kevin Petersheim and Mrs. Melodie Ray of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Marie Petersheim of Covington to Samuel David Ozburn of Covington, son of the Honorable and Mrs. Samuel D. Ozburn of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Polson of Leesburg, Fla., and Mr. an Mrs. Emanuel Petersheim of Mesopotamia, Ohio. She is a graduate of Eastside High School and Bauder College with a degree in fashion merchandising. She is currently employed by Eastridge Community Church

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Alice Norman Dial and the late Mr. Lubie C. Norman of Covington and Mr. Albert B. Ozburn and the late Mrs. Julia Polk Ozburn of Newborn. He is a graduate of Eastside High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in public policy. He is currently a first year law student at Mercer University

The couple will wed May 17 at First Presbyterian Church.
