Ms. Pauline C. Dial, 74, of Oxford, died Nov. 17 at Kennestone Hospital. The daughter of the late Zeb and Ethel Hannah Cable, she was born in Rockdale County. Ms. Dial retired from Lithonia Lighting after 30 years of service. She was a member of West Walton Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, working in her yard and many handcrafts including needlepoint and embroidery. Ms. Dial was preceded in death by son Jimmy E. Dial.

Surviving are daughter Patricia Sawtelle of Ball Ground; grandchildren Susan Wood, Elysha Wood, Wade Sawtelle, Sharon Sawtelle; great-granddaughter Emma Grace Wood; sister Polly Kitchens of Covington; brother and sister-in-law Earnest and Annie Pearl Cagle of Newell, Ala.; several nieces and nephews including John Cagle, Wayne Cagle, Glen Cagle and Dale Cagle.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with Minister Paul Nicklas officiating. Interment followed at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
