Night out ends badly

A night of parting at the club ended roughly for one man when his friend's mother allegedly attacked his house with a hammer.

According to a Covington Police Department incident report, Lamar Barnett Aaron Arnold and Jessica Fitts went to an out-of-town club Monday night.

While at the club, Barnett reportedly said Fitts took some pills and began to act crazy. They left the club soon after and drove back to Covington. During the car trip, Fitts reportedly began to hit Barnett. While he was attempting to stop Fitts, Barnett reportedly said he hit her in the eye with his elbow.

Barnett dropped Fitts off at her mother's house in Porterdale. About 10 minutes after he returned home, Fitts' mother, Linda Stickcomb showed up on his front porch.

Stickcomb reportedly hit his front door with a hammer and broke the door's window. She then allegedly scratched the side of his truck as she was leaving.

Barnett advised the officer he planned on taking out a warrant for Stickcomb's arrest.
