Mary Hunt Miley

Mary Hunt Miley, 87, of Alpharetta, died July 31. A native of Georgia, she had lived in Alpharetta for the past 17 years.

Mrs. Miley was an active member of the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church and worked closely with the Stephen's Ministry. For 40 years she was very active during the summertime in the Conley Cove Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Miley was past president of Pilots International Club and was very active in various community services and activities. She was preceded in death by husband Harry W. Miley.

Surviving are children Anne Miley and Bob Bray of Canton, Harry W. Miley Jr. and Ingrid McReynolds of Columbia, S.C., Martin H. and Karen Miley of Covington; sister Gene Jernigan of Inverness, Fla.; brother Carver Hunt of Hiawassee; grandchildren Eric M. and Maia Bray of Indianapolis, Ind., Brandon W. Bray of San Diego, Calif, Hal Miley, Callie Miley, both of Columbia, Paul M. and Allison Miley of Forsyth, Jared W. Miley, Jonathan H. Miley, both of Covington; great-granddaughter Calah Miley of Forsyth.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Helen Skillern officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stephen's Ministry at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 5, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell.
