Lucy B. Knight, 71, of Covington, died Dec. 17. The daughter of the late James and Clyde Carroll Burton, she was born in Oglethorpe County. Mrs. Knight attended County Line Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and listening to gospel music. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Diann and Stevie Steward of Covington, Denise Edwards Daniel and Rusty Daniel, Jennifer and Richard White, all of Oxford, Crystal Knight and Jodie Wilson of Covington; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law Ann and Doug Skelton of Conyers, Dean Davis, Frances and Pumpkin Smith, all of Covington, Elaine and Bill Evans of Bethlehem, Louise and Neal Anschultz of Monroe; brothers and sisters-in-law Carlton and Patricia Burton of Bethlehem, Lewis and Shirley Burton of Monroe; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Jimmy Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Dec. 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
