Louise Rush, 86, died Aug. 24. The daughter of the late Mr. William Ross Vaughn and Laura Purcell Vaughn, Mrs. Rush was a strong family woman who loved her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Rush enjoyed collecting hummel figurines and in her earlier years, she enjoyed square dancing.

Mrs. Rush is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Guy Rush, Jr. and son Dan Rush.

Mrs. Rush is survived by daughters Debbi and (Russ) Thompson, Covington, Penny McConnell, Newnan; son Kenny Rush and (Sharon Harris), Amarillo, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at Monday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with the Rev. Tom Rush officiating. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home. An online guest registry is available at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
