Kaye Adams Phillips

Kaye Adams Phillips, 54, of Covington, died Dec. 5 at Emory University Hospital. Born in Fulton County in 1953, she retired from AT&T with 25 years of service. Mrs. Phillips was a seven-and-one-half-year liver transplant survivor and a very active member of Covington First Baptist Church and Pairs and Spares Sunday school class. Mrs. Phillips was a devoted daughter, wife and mother and loved cooking and home decorating. She was preceded in death by father Herman P. Adams.

Surviving are husband Thomas (Bubba) Phillips of Covington; daughters Nedra Blankenship of Covington, Serra Phillips of Athens; sons Richie Blankenship and fiancée Teresa Wright, both of Covington; mother Catherine D. Adams of Covington; brother and sister-in-law Dr. Lanier and Emily Adams and family of Grovetown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at First Baptist Church of Covington with the Rev. Jack Wilson, the Rev. Allen Waldrop and Chaplain Wendy Wyche officiating.
