James Otis Ingram

Mr. James Otis Ingram died April 30. The son of the late Ms. Addie Harris and Mr. John Ingram, he was born in 1937. He was employed by Bibb Manufacturing Company until the 1990s. He was preceded in death by wife Ms. Sarah M. Dyer Ingram.

Surviving are sons Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Carmella) Ingram, Mr. and Mrs. James (Terri) Ingram, Mr. Horace Ingram, all of Pottstown, Pa., Mr. Eddie James Brown, Mr. James Anthony Ingram, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruby) Ingram, Mr. Tony O. Darty, all of Covington; daughters Ms. Tammy Darty, Ms. Angela Ingram, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Yolanda) Eubanks, Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Shannon) Smith, all of Covington; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; aunt Ms. Lilly Moody of Atlanta; sisters-in-law Ms. Grace Thomas, Ms. Mittie Dyer, Ms. Gurlie Dyer, Ms. Carrie Dyer; brothers-in-law Mr. Homer Dyer, Mr. Horace Bennett of Pennsylvania; devoted nieces and nephews Charlie, Natasha, Jimmy, Terry, Hall, Willie, Maxine; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at noon May 8 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe L. McKibben officiating. Interment followed at Springfield Cemetery, Almon.
