James H. Dodson, 85, of Covington, died April 23. Mr. Dodson loved working in the yard and was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend to many. He is preceded in death by son Steven Dodson and brothers Travis Morrison and Lewis Morrison.

Surviving are wife of 52 years Etheleen Dodson; sister Edna Lofton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 25, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Gavin Moon officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
