James D. Crenshaw

Mr. James D. Crenshaw, 79, of Mansfield, died July 13. Mr. Crenshaw was a lifelong resident of Newton County and attended Mansfield Baptist Church. He drove a school bus in Newton County for 20 years and enjoyed farming and tractors. Mr. Crenshaw was preceded in death by parents William Cecil and Debrotha Waycaster Crenshaw and wife Myrtle Louise Curtis Crenshaw.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law David and Gail Crenshaw of Mansfield; daughter and son-in-law Linda and John Napoli of Mansfield; brothers W.C. Crenshaw of Sylacauga, Ala., Lawrence Crenshaw of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister Ann Randall of Eutawville, S.C.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. July 15 at Mansfield Baptist Church with Dr. Jeffrey Perkins officiating. Interment followed at the Curtis Family Cemetery, Mansfield.
