Irene Agnes Almand, 75, of Covington died June 26. A loving grandmother, she enjoyed cooking and crocheting and was an avid reader. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Lucile Mays Bynerd and her husband, William Joseph Almand.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Sue and Mike Evans of Mansfield, Wanda Hannaway of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Wilson and Margaret Almand of Hartland, Maine, and Rick and Miriam Almand of Franklin, N.C.; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two sisters.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
