Rebecca Shai Holder of Social Circle and James Wayne Skelton of Monticello were married Aug. 22 in Savannah.

The bride is the daughter of the late Patricia M. Holder and Lynn Martin "Marty" Holder of Conyers. She is the granddaughter of the late Johnny F. Holder and the late Mary Rooks and the late Ola Rae and Henry Berry of Conyers.

The groom is the son of Ralph and Wylene Skelton of Monticello.

The wedding took place on the beach and the bride was given in marriage by Savannah Treadwell.

The bride wore a gown with a beaded lace bodice and an elegantly flowing train.

The couple honeymooned in Savannah and live in Social Circle.
