Lynn Martin "Marty" Holder of Conyers announces the engagement of his daughter Rebecca Shai Holder of Social Circle to James Wayne Skelton of Monticello.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Patricia M. Holder and granddaughter of the late Johnny P. Holder, the late Mary Rooks and the late Ola Mae and Henry Berry of Conyers.

The future groom is the son of Ralph and Wylene Skelton of Monticello. He is the grandson of Vada and the late Pearlie Mae and James Carlton Skelton.

 The couple plans to marry Aug. 22 in Savannah.
