Mr. Ferrell Harvey and Ms. Elmira Harvey of Albany announce the engagement of their daughter Felida Francine of Albany to Jeremy Augustus Baker of Lithonia, son of Dr. and Mrs. Melvin O. (Gussie) Baker of Oxford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Clifford Wadley and Mrs. Jewel Wadley of Swainsboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Sr. and Elizabeth Harvey. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in mass media. She is employed with WFX TV in Albany as interactive manager.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus (Lena) Griggs and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie (Mary) Baker, all of Covington. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in computer information systems. He is employed with the Newton County School System and Rite-Aid.

The wedding will take place Sept. 13 at St. Paul AME Church in Covington.
