Frances Bohannon Piper, 90, died Monday June 25 at Johnson County Nursing Home in Adrian.

The daughter of the late Roy and Lillian Parrish Darby, Mrs. Piper was retired from Bibb Manufacturing.

She was a member of Stewart Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Mrs. Piper was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by husbands J.W. Bohannon and Ervin Piper and daughter Velta Frances Bohannon.

Surviving Mrs. Piper are son and daughter-in-law James M. and Mildred Bohannon of Swansboro; and grandchildren Nona and Kevin Farmer.

Funereal services for Mrs. Piper will be held Thursday June 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan.

The Rev. Foster Warnock and the Rev. Jimmy Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow at Covington City Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to The Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, Tenn. 37214.
