Elizabeth Morrison Thrailkill died Nov. 4. The daughter of the late Arthur and Estella Morrison, she was born in Clarksville, Tenn., in 1913. She was raised in Danville, Ill., and graduated from Danville High School. She joined Shiloh Baptist Church at a young age and joined Peek's Chapel Church in Conyers as an adult. Formerly married to the late Theodore Robinson, she married Joseph Thrailkill in 1945. He preceded her in death. She worked at the Veterans Hospital in Danville and retired from the Veterans Research Hospital, Chicago, as a food service supervisor. She then moved to Conyers to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Ms. Thrailkill loved her family and set good examples for her children, raising them with Christian values. Her favorite pastimes were cooking, baking, traveling and keeping her home open to entertain family and friends. Her life was dedicated to her family and helping others. She was preceded in death by son Michael, three sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are sons Joseph (Dorothy) Robinson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Barry (Eva) Thrailkill of Olympia Fields, Ill.; daughter Patricia Geddis of Conyers; grandsons Brett Thrailkill of Malibu, Calif.; Brian (Mara) Thrailkill of Homewood, Ill., Nicholas (Sheherezade) Robinson of Stone Mountain; great-grandchildren Brittany Thrailkill of Highland, Ind., Alex and Aidan Thrailkill of Homewood, Hezekiah, Jaylynn and Jessica Robinson of Stone Mountain; special cousin Martha Timms of Danville; a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at noon Nov. 8 at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. James H. Battle officiating. Interment followed Nov. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.
