Randall and Michelle Donaldson of Covington, announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Lynn Donaldson to Bobby Jacques, son of Bob and Diane Jacques of Covington.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Elsie Blair and the late Gene Blair of Oxford and Raymond and Wilodean Donaldson of Conyers. She is a graduate of Eastside High School and is employed by Reddy Ice and the Newton County Recreation Department.

The future groom is the grandson of Cecil and Andrea Mitchell of Buckhead and the late Steven and Annie Jacques of Boston, Mass. He is a graduate of Newton County High School and is employed by Reddy Ice.

The couple will marry Oct. 27 in the Downtown Conyers Pavilion, in Conyers.
