A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Cornelia Griggs of Shady Dale will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 236 Martin Lane, Shady Dale. The Rev. C.L. Bryant and the Rev. Jimmy Horton will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will assemble at 22 Martin Lane at noon.

A public viewing will be today, June 29, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist church. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Surviving are children Dorothy Alexander, Roy Gaither, Augusta Griggs Jr., Jessie James Griggs, Johnny Lee Griggs; step-sons James Jefferies, Coy Jefferies; sister Mrs. Willie Maude White; brother Mr. Leroy Dudley; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
