Miss Chrissy Nicole Howard, 16, a lifelong resident of Covington, died April 3. She was a member of Water Oak Baptist Church and an 11th grade student at Social Circle High School. She enjoyed going to drag races, fishing, talking to her friends, taking pictures, hunting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are mother and stepfather Belinda Duckett and J.R. Abbott of Covington; grandparents Dianne and Richard Powell of Porterdale, Wayne and Jean Duckett of Conyers; aunts and uncles Yvonne and Terry Haymore of Covington, Alicia and Allen Akery of Eatonton; five cousins and a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today, April 6, in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Levall officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
