Charlotte L. Hicks, 60, of Conyers, died Dec. 25 at Rockdale Medical Center. The daughter of the late Cordelia Brooks Adkins, she was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Hicks enjoyed crafts, yard work - especially flower gardening, hunting and fishing. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by sisters Cathy Hoop and Betty Sue Grant.

Surviving are husband Frankie Hicks; daughters and son-in-law Candy Reynolds, Melissa and Charles Bowen, all of Conyers; son and daughter-in-law Frankie Klin Hicks and Holly Hicks of Covington; grandchildren Justin, Kayla, Chelsie, Leigh, Ashley, Kiara; great-grandchildren Hunter and Logan; father and step-mother Klin and Jean Adkins of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law Ella Adkins, Louise and Butch Cook; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 28, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with Pastor James Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Oxford Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Access Road Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
