Charles Alan Maxwell, 49, of Covington, died april 30. The son of the late Charles F. Maxwell, he had been a resident of Covington for 10 years and was the owner of Alcovy Trucks and SUVs. Mr. Maxwell enjoyed salt water fishing, classic automobiles and riding motorcycles and was a member of Pace Masonic Lodge No. 558.

Surviving are wife Lora Maxwell of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law Amanda and Philip Brewer of Colbert, Patricia and Thomas Hay of Athens, Erica Scarborough of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law Tony and Paige Maxwell of McDonough, Brad Holmes of Atlanta; granddaughter Lily Scarborough of Conyers; mother Irene Wishon of Elizabethton, Tenn.; sister Charlotte Lominec of Covington; brother Cliff Anderson Maxwell of Elizabethtown; three nephews and one niece.

Funeral services were held at noon May 3 in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
