Buster Shope

Buster Shope, 37, of Newborn, died July 5. Mr. Shope worked in his family-owned business, Midtown Hauling and Equipment, as a heavy equipment operator. He was of the Christian faith, enjoyed fishing and water sports and loved people and his family. Mr. Shope was preceded in death by his mother Robbie Lee Bagwell Shope.

Surviving are wife Jennifer Shope; daughters Kayla Shope and Emily Shope; son Zach Shope, all of Newborn; father Clarence Shope of Covington; grandmother Ruth H. Yancey of Hall County; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with the Rev. Raymond Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Buster Shope.
