Kendra Renata Bridges and Allester James of Covington were married April 14 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, with the Rev. McNaughton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of the late McArthur Bridges. She was given in marriage by her mother Cynthia Singleton of Smyrna. She attended Georgia State University and graduated from Brown College of Court Reporting.

The groom is the son of Annie Pearl James of Milledgeville and the late Alvester James. He is a graduate of DeKalb Perimeter College.

The couple resides in Covington.
