Brenda Jeanette Burch, 62, of Lithia, Fla., formerly of Covington, died Dec. 16. The daughter of the late Royce Day Jeffries and Willie Bell Horton Jeffries, she lived most of her life in Newton County, moving to Florida in 2005. She was a very active member of Willow Springs Church, Social Circle, was employed for more than 30 years with Mobil and Pactiv before retiring and was a 13-year breast cancer survivor. She loved the beach and spending time with her grandson and friends. Mrs. Burch was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are husband Dennis Ray Burch of Lithia; daughters Lori Burch-Farrow and husband Todd of Covington, Jennifer Keipper and husband Scott of Lithia; grandson Luke Keipper; sister Linda Mealor and husband James of Eatonton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home with the Rev. J.C. Studdard and the Rev. Clint Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 21.
