Mrs. Bonnie Fay Wolaver, 76, of Covington, died July 17 at her residence. The daughter of the late Grady and Sarah Light, she was born in Arab, Ala. She was preceded in death by Mr. Richard Lee Wolaver, her husband of 42 years. Mrs. Wolaver was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her life. She loved picture puzzles, reading and watching children's movies with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wolaver was of the Methodist faith and a member of Starrsville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Rhonda and Steve Purcell, Deborah and Mitchell Kitchens; son Rickey Wolaver, all of Covington; grandchildren Ronnie and Lee Aycox, Tammy and Eric Honeycutt, Sam Wolaver and Jody Wolaver; great-grandchildren Stephen Aycox, Hunter Aycox, Brooklynn Honeycutt; brother Jimmy Light of Jackson; sister Judy Ottwell of Culman, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, in the chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Cronin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today, July 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home
